Condition
refinished, but with nice even surface throughout, and exhibiting a wonderful figuring to wood grain; fitted interior with some minor scuffs or scrapes along drawer faces and edges- one drawer missing pull, and two other drawers with loose pulls; hinges probably re-set to case, with some fill and retouching to surround; a couple water rings and dark marks to top of desk and to slant front interior; left-facing loper sinks back farther than right-facing loper; drawers glide easily, and with relatively clean interiors; brasses are replaced, with evidence of additional screw holes; escutcheon to bottom-most drawer is loose and missing screw; foot faces each with repaired breaks; one scroll to front right-facing foot facing is replaced; backboards appear to be solid, with a couple large burl holes; a couple age splits to front of slant front
